Experience a world of the unspoken homoerotic. Male sex appeal, unvocalized desires, kink, perversion and all that is considered naughty, and not right, is Drasko Bogdanovic. Raised in Sarajevo during the Bosnian conflict, Drasko's view of real world strife strongly influences his photographic view. His subjects are raw, a little filthy - the message is to the point. Inspired by film noir and German sexual proclivities, Drasko is credited with his ability to expose the raw, often-missed angles of sexuality. Whether still or motion photography, the message is simple - there are no rules, sexuality has no bounds, all is right with the perverse.

Drasko Bogdanovic (born 1977 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia) is a Serbian-Canadian artist, portraitist and photographer of homoeroticism. He emigrated to Canada in 1996 where he took up digital photography. Bogdanovic was a classically trained musician and self taught painter before taking up photography. An early fascination with Hollywood magazines and black & white photography influenced Bogdanovic to juxtapose classical posture with natural light in his male nude photography. Today his landscape and architecture photography capture cities’ geometry, immutable personalities and intrinsic emotions; his photography has appeared in domestic newspapers and magazines and has been featured in local and national advertising campaigns.
Introspectre, one of Bogdanovic's most prominent works, was given the Award of Merit at The Ontario Society of Artist's Annual Exhibition in May 2008. In 2010 he published his first book of erotic photography "Persuasion Of Men" featuring introduction by Brad Fraser.
Drasko Bogdanovic is a regular columnist at fab, Toronto's gay scene magazine.

persuasion of men book
136 page, hard-cover book with more than 120 colour and black & white, full and double page photographs featuring "The Whole Man" introduction by notoriously outspoken Canadian writer Brad Fraser.
Persuasion of Men examines society’s view of male nudity and the uncomfortable fit between masculinity and beauty. Bogdanovic‘s intimate portraits depict men without focusing on sexual orientation. The images draw the viewer into a game of voyeur and exhibitionist filled with erotic charge and sexual tension, guaranteed to arouse. Presenting a natural attitude to nudity, Bogdanovic strives to illustrate curiosity and freedom towards the male form.
